Pääsin mukaan työväenopiston italiankurssille. Tunnit alkavat syyskuussa ja päättyvät maaliskuu lopussa, yhteensä niitä on 22. Innokkaana oppilaana olen jo hankkinut tarvittavaa materiaalia: oppikirjan, sanakirjan, kielioppikirjan ja kieliopin harjoituskirjan. Penaali, kynät ja sen sellaiset ovat opiskeluajalta. Vähän jo katselin ääntämissääntöjä, eivätkä ne ainakaan kovin vaikeilta vaikuta. Todellisuus paljastunee kuukauden kuluttua.
Kivaa on myös se, että lähipiirissä on ihmisiä, jotka ovat myös innostuneita kielestä. Siskolle saa kuulemma opettaa juttuja. Hän oli keväällä 2007 Pirren kanssa Roomassa ja opiskeli matkailuitaliaa sitä varten. Töissä yksi meidän tiimistä on viettänyt pidemmän ajan Sisiliassa. Toinen tiimistämme ilmoittautui myös vastaavalle kurssille, tosin eri kaupunkiin. Töissä toisella osastolla on kolmas työkaveri, joka vielä viime vuonna opiskeli italiaa. Näiden lisäksi on vielä muitakin, joiden tiedän osaavan todella hyvin italiaa, mutta heidän kanssa olen vähemmän tekemisissä. Harjoituskavereita siis riittää!
I got in to Workers’ institute to study Italian. The lessons start in September and end in the end of March, there will be 22 lessons altogether. As an enthusiastic student I have already bought needed material: combined text and exercise book, dictionary, grammar book and exercise book for grammar. Pencils etc are from study times. I already took a quick look at the pronunciation and it does not seem to be too difficult. Well, the truth will reveal in a month.
It has been nice to find out that many of my friends are also interested about the language. My sister said that I could teach some things to her too. She was in Rome in the spring 2007 with Pirre and studied travelers Italian before their trip. A colleague in our team has spent a longer time in Sicily. Another colleague of our team has also booked in a similar course, only in a different city. At work on another department there is a third colleague, who studied Italian last year. In addition there are others, who speak Italian extremely well, but I get together with them more seldom. There will be many people to practice with!
