Jippii - kesälomamatka varattuna!
Menin käymään reilu viikko sitten järjestetyille matkamessuille aikaa viettääkseni, mutta kuinkas sitten kävikään... Yhdellä (ja yksihän riittää) matkatoimistolla oli niin ihanan kuuloisia matkoja, etten kertakaikkiaan voinut vastustaa. Sentään mietin seuraavaan päivään kohdetta ja varasin reissun vasta maanantaina.
Kohde on Slovenia ja siellä ehkä enemmänkin talvikohteena tunnettu ja alppihiihdostakin tuttu Kranjska Gora Alppien eteläosassa (http://www.kranjska-gora.si/index.php?l=3). Luvassa on muun muassa patikointia viitenä päivänä viikon aikana. Yksi yö vietetään vuoristomajassa, jolta kiivetään maan korkeimman vuoren Triglavin huipulle auringonnousua katselemaan. Raftingiinkin olisi ehkä mahdollisuus.
Moni asia matkalla riippuu säästä. Kesän 2006 Garmisch-Partenkircheninmatkan jälkeen uskallan kuitenkin sanoa, että rankka sadekuuro joskus virkistääkin. Toivon kuitenkin, että sää suosisi vähintäänkin sen verran että 2852 metriä korkea Triglav päästään valloittamaan.
Yippii - I have booked a trip for summer!
There was a travel fair in Helsinki a bit over a week ago. I went there to spend time on Saturday, but I think you will guess wath happend... One (and you only need one) travel agency offered so wonderful vacations, that there was no way to say no. However, I did sleep the night and decided the destination on the next day and booked it on Monday.
I will travel to Kranjska Gora Slovenia in the southern part of the Alps (http://www.kranjska-gora.si/index.php?l=3). It is better known as a skiing destination or as a part of alpine skiing world cup tour. There will be hiking on five days a week. One night will be spent on a mountine hut, from where we will climb to the top of the highest mountine of the country, Triglav, to see the sunrise. There might be a possibility for rafting, too.
Many things will depend of the weather during the vacation. After visiting Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the summer of 2006 I dare to say, that a heavy shower can sometimes be refreshing. However, I do hope that the air will be good enough to climb up the 2852 meters high Triglav.
